  • The “SAP Certified Application Associate – Ariba Contract Management” exam validates that the candidate possesses the fundamental and core knowledge required of an SAP Ariba Associate Business Consultant profile. This certification proves that the candidate has an overall understanding to participate as a member of a project team in a mentored role. This certification exam is recommended as an entry level qualification to participate in all Ariba Contract Management design and implementation projects.

Define the functions available on each tab, configure tasks, use conditions, link documents and tasks and configure approval flows.

Contract Requests and Contract Workspaces > 12%

Use contract requests and explian the business reasons for using them, use the different types of contract workspace, manage contract templates, describe how to initiate a contract workspace.

Contract Authoring > 12%

Define best practices for contract authoring, set up contract authoring, create a main agreement, use Desktop File Sync, use the clause library, Explain when to use different document types, Generate an assembled document.

Best Practices 8% – 12%

Explain contract management best practices, best practices for master data and best practices for amendments.

Suppliers and Users 8% – 12%

Explain how suppliers interact with contracts via Ariba Contract Management, use teams and access controls and the Team tab,explain the difference between team members and users, define system groups vs. project groups, and use out of the box security profiles.

Explain how Ariba Contract Management integrates with Sourcing, Contract Compliance and SAP ERP; Use contract line item documents.

 

Procurement Knowledge < 8%

Define contract, term types and hierarchy types.

Search and Reporting < 8%

Run and edit prepackaged reports, identify the prepackage reports that relate to contracts, and explain the search features unique to Ariba Contract Management.

Deployment Methodology < 8%

Match business requirements to configuratoin options, define key terms in the design workbooks, explain best practices for loading legacy contracts, prepare documents for legacy load, describe the deployment process, complete the enablement workbooks, and use bulk import.
